The Last Meccan Prophet (Peace On Him) & The Liars.

The entire Muslim world is unanimous on the finality of Prophet-hood and that the Meccan Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, peace on him. is the very last of all the prophets, and why there should not be unanimity when God Himself revealed in His Holy Book that Muhammad Mustafa is the last Prophet:-

Muhammad is not the father of ( Ma-Kan-Muhammadun Aba Ahad) any man among you, but he is in( Min Rijale kum, walakin) the Messenger of Allah and the Rasul-Allah wa khatam Nabiyeen wa kan-Allah-0 be kulle sha-in alima.)

very last of the Prophets and God is Omniscient of all things." (33/40).

The Miscreants Hold The Quran is Sufficient, Never The Prophet's Sunnah Is Inevitable

The above revelation is self explanatory, and does not leave even a shadow of doubt on the finality of prophet-hood of Muhammad Mustafa, peace on him. But from the very inception of Islam some renegades have continuously been trying not only to endanger the sanctity of Islam but also to divulge it from its very course, and these rogues in their attempts of disfiguration of Islam, leave no stone unturned in even feigning against the established and proved exegesis of Holy Verses.

It will, therefore, be very interesting for common reader to go through the confirmed principles of exegesis for the verses of HolyQuran. Quite concisely I lay few points to fully apprehend the necessity and method of exegesis adopted for understanding Holy Verses.

The Holy Quran in-itself has directed:- "Obey Allah, and Obey the Messenger."

The direction embodied under the above revelation, can be found on many places in the Holy Book. It is mandatory, because the Holy Scripture is Synoptic and does not contain the manner and details for the obedience of various commandments, for e.g.; The belief in Uniquness of God and in his last Prophet; the offering of 5 times daily prayers; fasting in the month of Ramdhan; the paying of Zakat, (charity tax) and the performance of Haj once in life, (if financial condition permits), are; the five central pillars in the edifice of Islam, but no details of any of the above commandments are available. Now if every body is allowed to hunt for the details according to his own fancy, the entire scripture shall become a fun to play with.

It is, therefore, that Allah revealed the scripture on the Holy Prophet and said:

God did confer A great favour On the Believers When He sent among them An Apostle from among Themselves, rehearsing Unto them the Signs Of God, sanctifying them, And instructing them In Scripture and Wisdom, While, before that, They had been In manifest error. (3/164).

The main task of the Holy Prophet, peace on him, was to teach the Scripture, and give details of every command, so-that believers may follow in obedience. Though they were Arabs and the revelations being in their own language, they ought to have understood it, but:

"When it is said to them, "Adore ye (God) Beneficent They say, "And what is (God) Beneficent Shall we adore That which thou commandest us?" (25/60)

Rahman is an Arabic word, refers to a quality of God meaning Beneficent, that shows that even Arabs were unaware of the word 'Rahman', under these circumstances could they have understood the Holy Book, certainly not. It is only the inevitable teaching of the Holy Prophet that,we all learn, what is God, and what God is not.

Now I further quote few of the events that show, that even companions of the Holy Prophet, peace on him, could not understand the revelations of Holy Quran. When under the rules of fasting the following verse was revealed:

"And eat and drink until the White thread becomes distinct to you from the black thread."

and a part of this verse "from dawn" was not revealed, a companion of Holy Prophet, Addi bin Hatim took two threads one black and the other white and placed it under his pillow and continued to look on them, when he could differentiate between the two, he stopped himself from eating. In the morning he informed all this to Holy Prophet who said your pillow is very big (meaning to accommodate the day and the night), then he told that "white thread and black thread" means that when you can differentiate the light of day from the darkness of night, (you are to refrain from eating and observe fast). (Musnad Ahmad)

The Mother of the believers Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that Holy Prophet (may peace be on him) said:

Any body who is called upon to account (for all his actions in the world) will be tortured, (then) she said: Didn't God say, 'He truly will receive an easy reckoning,' (84/8),

"The Holy Prophet said:

This does not mean actual reckoning, it is only presentation of account in his right hand) and one who is asked to reckon, will not escape torture." Allah said: He who doth wrong, will be requited accordingly, and nor he will find besides. God, .any protector or helper. (4/123)

The companions of the Holy Prophet felt themselves in a tedious position after hearing the above revelation, as it is not humanly possible to avoid all and every wrong. In Musnad Ahmad, it has been narrated that Abu-Bakr (may God be pleased with him) said: O Apostle of Allah! how (we can) attain deliverance in face of the above revelation, when for all the wrongs we are to be recompensed" The Holy Prophet peace on him, said, "Allah may pardon you O' Abu-Bakr, don't you get ill, don't you get into agony, don't you get sad, don't you get into calamity. He said: yes. the Holy Prophet said: This is what you would be requited with."

When the Holy Verse stated below was revealed:

They who hoard gold and silver and spend it not , in the way of Allah, unto them give tidings (0 Muhammad) of a painful doom. On the day when it will (all) be heated in the fire of hell and their foreheads and their flanks and their backs will be branded therewith (and it will be said unto them): Here is that which ye hoarded for yourselves. Now taste of what ye used to hoard. (9/ 34-35)

The order implied in the above revelation was considered to be very severe by the companions of the Holy Prophet, they said: Any of us can not leave any wealth, to remain after him, for his son. Then Umar (may God be pleased with him) said: I will get you relinquished out of this difficulty," saying this Umar departed and he was followed by Thauban, after reaching to Holy Prophet, he said: 0 Apostle of Allah this revelation has been felt to be grievous by your companions. The Holy Prophet said, Lo! Allah didn't make the Zakat compulsory, but to purify your wealth which may remain in your possession. The inheritance has been made compulsory, only in that wealth (property of all descriptions) which you will leave after you Umar raised a slogan of the greatness of God on this clarification. (Ibn Abi Hatim).

We see that it was only through this clarification from the Holy Prophet that his companions could understand the correct exegesis of the revelation in question, other-wise they were wrongly thinking to have been stopped from accumulating wealth. There are numerous verses of Holy Quran which simply touch to certain facts without explaining them. We can find their exegesis only in the traditions of Holy Prophet, other wise nobody could ever understand them for e.g.

"And to the three also (did he turn in mercy) who were left behind. (9/118).

There were persons who lagged behind in Tabuk affair, not from contumacy or ill will but from slackness and human weakness, they actually have failed to the call of the Holy Prophet peace on him, however we find the detail of this affair only in Hadith, whereas the Holy Quran touches the event without even naming those three persons

Similarly the Holy Quran tells us:

Thus have We made of you An Ummat justly balanced, That ye might be witness Over the nations, And the Apostle a witness Over yourselves. (2/143)

This Holy Verse entails in it a description which can only be find in Hadith and that is When all the messengers and their peoples shall be assembled on Doomsday, their peoples would be asked, if they had received the Gods' Message, on their denial those messengers would assert to have given the Message, God would ask them to produce the witness, they (messengers) would say that Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa and his Ummah (peoples) would stand witness for us. Then this Ummah would be asked to give evidence if those messengers had given the Message to their peoples. This ummah would reply in the affirmative, God would ask how do you know, they would answer: our Holy Prophet informed us that all the messengers did give the Message of God to their peoples. We could never have known the true meaning of the above verse but for the detail given by the Holy Prophet, peace be on him.

"And We have bestowed Upon thee the Seven Oft repeated (verses) And the Grand Quran. (15/87)

It is only through the tradition of the Holy Prophet, peace be on him, that we learnt that Seven oft repeated verses are of Surah Fateha (Chapter 1) which is a component part of every Muslim Prayer.

There is a great part of Hadith which is regarding the descent of revelations and states the reasons and the special circumstances under which that particular revelation was revealed on Muhammad Mustafa, peace be on him, failing which the holy verses could have never been apprehended but rather misunderstood.

Again we find the inevitability of Hadith when we look to the synopsis of lawful and forbidden in Holy Quran. As it is only Hadith which lays down all the details of the lawful and forbidden to the minutest precision, telling what to eat and what to leave, or what to do and what to avoid.
